Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is a country and pop music artist. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she came out with The Blade. This album earned her acclaim and praise. Ashley Monroe works as the Village Manager Assistant in Riverside Illinois. With over fifteen years' experience, she has worked in various positions within the public sector, including five years spent as Iowa City's city manager position as Deputy. As the Assistant Village Director she manages The Community Development and Building Department. This includes coordinating grants and completing special projects. Ashley assists in assisting with the village's day-to-day services and also works with local elected officials. Ashley's prior roles have included municipal planning government communications budgeting personnel management and collective bargaining as well as focusing on climate-related initiatives. Through her involvement in the national community and working in communities with populations ranging Ashley has gained insight into the complexity of differences and similarities in how public organizations operate.
